WELCOME TO BRIDAL SKETCH SEASON

As wedding season begins in earnest, I have been busy creating beautiful freehand drawn sketches of brides gowns. Either as wedding day gifts or as ideal first anniversary gifts – year one is traditionally paper you know! – it has been really great to see so many weddings back with full guest lists and parties! I’ve restock my beloved Derwent pencils and are enjoying creating these beautiful bespoke bridal illustrations.

I have spent the Winter rearranging my home studio, and have a desk overlooking a lovely view of the Bowland fells. My dog Waffle has her bean bag all fluffed up, and happily chills out whilst I sketch.

I have recently been working with clients in America, creating beautiful bespoke drawings with extra special requests. One was a really special memorial illustration, and was a pleasure to work on with my client.
